Collin Barnwell

Collin Barnwell is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Roundabout Technologies, an early-stage technology company operating in the hardware sector. Previously, he worked as a software engineer at Google and Verily Life Sciences, where he specialized in developing complex hardware and software systems for commercial applications. During his tenure in the medical device sector, Barnwell successfully built and shipped safety-critical Internet of Things hardware, including a highly regulated device designed to be implanted directly into humans. Earlier in his career, he gained foundational startup experience by serving as an engineering intern at both Handshake and G2, joining each organization when they had fewer than five engineers on staff. Barnwell's current focus remains on leveraging his extensive software engineering expertise to build safety-critical Internet of Things devices, camera systems, and advanced medical hardware.
