Corey Centen is the co-founder and CEO of Bodyport, a digital health company based in San Francisco, California. He holds an engineering degree from McMaster University and previously co-invented the CPR Glove, an early wearable innovation featured in Time Magazine. Centen also served as the co-founder and CEO of Atreo Medical, leading the design of a proprietary CPR measurement sensor system before its acquisition by Medtronic. Following this exit, he joined Medtronic to direct sensor development for the FDA-cleared TrueCPR device, building a technical portfolio of over 25 patents and peer-reviewed publications. At Bodyport, he secured an $11.2 million Series A funding round in 2020 and achieved FDA 510(k) clearance in 2022 for a non-invasive cardiac scale. His current focus remains on biomedical instrumentation and commercializing remote hemodynamic monitoring systems for heart failure management.
