Dan Burton

Dan Burton is the founder and CEO of Zeitview, an aerial data and inspection software company based in Santa Monica, California, United States. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed enterprise has scaled to operate in more than 60 countries with 200 employees, securing more than $100 million in total venture capital funding. Burton recently guided the firm through a $60 million capital raise in March 2025 and a 2023 rebranding from DroneBase to reflect its expanded artificial intelligence capabilities. Before entering the technology sector, he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, served as an infantry officer in the US Marine Corps, and held an investment banking role at Goldman Sachs. His current focus centers on leveraging drone technology and machine learning to optimize sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy assets globally.
