Daniel Dierkes

Daniel Dierkes is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SureIn, a commercial insurtech startup based in Berlin, Germany. He established the company in early 2022 to develop automated, digital insurance platforms tailored specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises. Under his leadership, SureIn successfully secured a €4 million Seed funding round in August 2023, backed by venture capital firms Pact VC and XAnge. The capital was raised to scale the proprietary B2B software platform and expand its product offerings, leading to a beta product launch in early 2024. Prior to launching his current venture, he gained professional experience in software engineering and product development within the broader financial technology and digital services sectors. His primary focus remains on driving SME digital transformation through specialized insurtech solutions and expanding commercial insurance accessibility across European markets.
