Daniel Storgaard

Daniel Storgaard is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Reshape Biotech, an emerging biotechnology robotics enterprise based in Denmark. Working alongside Chief Executive Officer Carl-Emil Grøn, Storgaard oversees the engineering and product development of specialized laboratory robots designed to automate manual microbiology tasks, including plate filling and complex image analysis. In his capacity as CTO, he manages the entire software development lifecycle, directing project management initiatives and executing rigorous quality assurance testing protocols for new hardware. Beyond his primary technical responsibilities, he integrates direct customer feature requests into the product roadmap and handles internal financial planning and accounting operations for the growing firm, which recently joined the BEAMSTART network in October 2024. Storgaard currently focuses on scaling integrated hardware and software solutions that streamline operational workflows within the global commercial microbiology and laboratory automation sectors.
