Darian Bhathena

Darian Bhathena is the Technical Co-founder of Finary and a Product Development Engineer at Liquid AI, currently based in New York, New York. At Finary, a consumer financial technology startup and social investing platform designed specifically for retail investors, he oversees all software engineering and technical infrastructure. He successfully guided the early-stage company through the highly competitive Y Combinator Winter 2021 batch alongside his co-founder Roger Cawdette. Following the accelerator program, Bhathena helped secure a $3.2 million seed funding round led by Upfront Ventures to expand the platform's retail investing capabilities. In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, he applies his background in advanced technology and computer science to complex product development initiatives at Liquid AI. His current focus centers on building scalable software architecture for consumer social applications and advancing engineering solutions within the broader financial technology sector.
