Daryl Lim

Daryl Lim is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Tracecat, an open-source security automation platform, where he currently oversees the company's technical strategy and core engineering initiatives. He established the early-stage startup and launched its primary platform to the public in early 2024, successfully leading the company through the Y Combinator Winter 2024 batch. Prior to launching Tracecat, Lim worked as a software engineer and infrastructure specialist focusing on observability, data, and artificial intelligence systems at Meta and AMD. He previously gained practical experience building complex technical systems at a London-based quantitative trading firm. Lim holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Imperial College London. His professional background remains focused on developing scalable data engineering solutions, cybersecurity automation, and advanced machine learning infrastructure for modern enterprise applications.
