David Hua

David Hua is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Meadow, a comprehensive cannabis retail software platform based in San Francisco, California. He established the B2B SaaS company in October 2014 and subsequently led the firm to become the first cannabis-focused startup accepted into the Y Combinator accelerator program during its Winter 2015 batch. Prior to entering the cannabis technology sector, Hua built his early career in digital media and technology through various operational positions at CBS Interactive and Clicker. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and has actively advocated for state-level cannabis tax reform following the 2018 implementation of California's Proposition 64. His current professional focus centers on scaling enterprise point-of-sale and e-commerce software solutions for regulated dispensaries while continuing to advance progressive cannabis industry policy reform.
