David Pastewka

David Pastewka is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Drapr, a virtual try-on platform based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Originally from Calgary, Canada, he studied business and computer science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2008 to 2012, where he built an early 3D printing vending machine. Following his undergraduate studies, Pastewka co-founded Twindom, a 3D body scanning technology company that he operated for five years before departing in January 2020. He subsequently launched Drapr to develop 3D avatar and fit technology for apparel e-commerce, successfully leading the startup until its acquisition by global retailer Gap Inc. in August 2021. Pastewka maintains a primary professional focus on building hardware and software startups that leverage augmented reality, 3D modeling, and computer vision to optimize the modern apparel and retail industry.
