David Reche

David Reche is the Founder of Cercli, an enterprise HR and payroll technology startup currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He established the company in 2023 to build a unified employee data platform for the MENA region, securing a $4 million seed funding round co-led by Afore Capital and COTU Ventures in August 2024. Before launching Cercli, Reche served as the Vice President of Product and Engineering at Kingmakers, where he scaled the technology infrastructure for the African sports and gaming platform. He previously held product and engineering leadership positions at Careem, contributing to the mobility network's regional growth leading up to its $3.1 billion acquisition by Uber in 2020. His professional background centers on scaling software engineering teams and managing product development for marketplace, mobility, and financial technology platforms operating across emerging markets.
