Dawson Chen

Dawson Chen is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Martin, an artificial intelligence technology startup currently based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the software company in 2023, he studied at Yale University before ultimately dropping out to pursue full-time consumer technology entrepreneurship. Chen subsequently led Martin through the Y Combinator accelerator program as part of its Summer 2023 cohort, securing early-stage institutional venture backing to scale initial operations. In his current executive capacity, he directs the software engineering and strategic product development of a consumer-facing AI personal assistant application designed to integrate directly with mobile ecosystems and daily user workflows. Following the public launch of the Martin AI application, his primary professional focus remains centered on advancing consumer artificial intelligence tools and building scalable productivity software for the broader mobile technology market.
