Dean Drako

Dean Drako is the Founder and CEO of Eagle Eye Networks and operates out of Austin, Texas. He previously founded and served as CEO of Barracuda Networks from 2003 to 2012, scaling the cybersecurity provider to over $250 million in annual recurring revenue before its eventual initial public offering and $1.6 billion acquisition by KKR. Under his leadership, Eagle Eye Networks manages a cloud video surveillance platform that serves more than 15,000 global customers and recently secured a $192 million joint equity investment alongside Brivo in May 2023. Drako holds an electrical engineering master's degree from UC Berkeley and has authored over two dozen technology patents throughout his three decades in the technology sector. His current professional focus remains on advancing cloud-based physical security, artificial intelligence video analytics, and enterprise software solutions for global markets.
