Dean Meyer

Dean Meyer is a Partner at Sequoia Capital based in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he leads seed and early-stage investments in cloud, data, and artificial intelligence technologies. Before joining Sequoia in March 2024 as its first Israeli partner, he served as an investor at Vine Ventures and Team8, focusing on cybersecurity and infrastructure startups. His venture capital portfolio includes investments in notable technology companies such as Talon Cyber Security, Dig Security, and Oasis Security, where he currently serves as a Board Observer. Meyer graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Reichman University and previously played professional soccer for AFC Ajax between 2014 and 2017. He leverages his technical background as a former data scientist to identify and support emerging enterprise software and cybersecurity founders across the Israeli technology ecosystem.
