Doron Segal

Doron Segal is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Per Diem, a Y Combinator-backed retail technology platform based in New York, New York. Founded in 2020, the company provides subscription, loyalty, and artificial intelligence tools for brick-and-mortar businesses, securing a $2.26 million seed round led by Two Sigma Ventures in 2021. Under his technical leadership, the platform has grown to support over 500 brands and integrates directly as a top-rated loyalty application on Square. Before launching Per Diem, Segal served as Director of Platform at Saildrone and worked as an Engineering Manager at OpenTable. His earlier career includes software engineering roles at Siemens and Beats Music, which was subsequently acquired by Apple. Segal leverages his extensive enterprise and consumer engineering background to develop scalable business-to-business software solutions for the local retail and restaurant sectors.
