Ed Chin

Ed Chin is a fintech entrepreneur based in Singapore, currently building Refy, a green asset financing platform backed by Wavemaker Impact. He previously worked on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs, where he progressed from analyst to managing director and portfolio manager, trading billions in distressed credit. Chin later co-founded and served as chief executive officer of OctiFi, an AI-driven BNPL startup that participated in Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch. Following OctiFi's acquisition by Latitude Financial, he operated as founding partner and chief operating officer of LatitudePay Asia from November 2021 to October 2023. Earlier in his career, he worked as chief data officer at Sweeten and earned a degree in economics and mathematics from Yale University. His current focus centers on leveraging his extensive credit underwriting expertise to scale sustainable finance solutions across the APAC region.
