Elia Saquand

Elia Saquand is the co-founder of VibeFlow, an artificial intelligence and machine learning startup currently participating in the S25 batch. Previously, he conducted artificial intelligence research at InstaDeep, where he successfully accelerated AlphaFold protein folding training by 10 times while maintaining 95% accuracy, resulting in a publication at the 2022 NeurIPS conference. His prior technical experience includes developing high-speed perception systems as a software engineer at Sony AI and conducting clinical machine learning research at Stanford University. Before launching his current startup venture, he also served as a founding engineer at a venture-backed startup building prompt-to-graph software tools for non-technical users. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science degree in Data Science from ETH Zürich. Saquand's professional focus centers on advancing complex machine learning applications across bioinformatics, clinical artificial intelligence, and accessible software developer tools.
