Emanuel Gordis

Emanuel Gordis is the Founder and CEO of Trim, a nuclear energy startup based in the United States founded in 2023 to develop small modular fission reactors for clean power. An alumnus of Cornell University, he conducted doctoral research in quantum physics alongside the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and published peer-reviewed astrophysics research with the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Leveraging this specialized scientific expertise, he holds a license as a Radiation Officer from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and previously led other nuclear technology ventures. Gordis recently published a nuclear safety analysis in a 2025 industry report and spoke at innovation conferences regarding the scalability of advanced fission technology.
