Fernando Nery

Fernando Nery is the Co-founder of Portão 3, a corporate travel and expense management platform, and is currently based in São Paulo, Brazil. Prior to his current entrepreneurial role, he spent five years serving as the Chief Product Officer at Zup, a Brazilian technology consulting firm that was acquired by banking giant Itaú Unibanco in 2019. During his tenure as a technology executive, Nery took over 100 business flights annually, exposing him directly to the operational inefficiencies of corporate travel across Latin America. To address these regional market challenges, he partnered with co-founder Bianca Juliano to launch Portão 3, which subsequently participated in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 startup batch. His career centers on leveraging his product management expertise to build streamlined B2B financial software and modernize corporate travel infrastructure throughout the Latin American market.
