Finbarr Taylor

Finbarr Taylor is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Shogun, as well as an active angel investor based in Silicon Valley, California. Since co-founding the e-commerce software platform, he served as Chief Executive Officer for eight years, scaling the business to eight-figure annual recurring revenue and securing over $100 million in venture funding from firms including Accel and Insight Partners. Prior to his current enterprise, Taylor worked as a Software Engineer at Y Combinator, where he built internal applications, and previously held engineering roles at various technology startups. He holds a degree in computer science from the University of Edinburgh and has independently invested in dozens of early-stage technology companies over the past decade. His professional background combines extensive frontend web development expertise with a current focus on directing technical strategy and advising emerging software founders.
