Frank Licea

Frank Licea is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Howdy, a remote work infrastructure and software engineering startup based in Austin, Texas. Alongside co-founder Jacqueline Samira, he initially launched the enterprise under the name Austin Software before successfully participating in the Y Combinator Winter 2021 accelerator batch. Driving the technical strategy for the organization, Licea helped navigate the company through its 2022 corporate rebranding and a subsequent $13 million Series A financing round led by Obvious Ventures. His proprietary platform currently equips and manages hundreds of software developers distributed across Latin America, seamlessly integrating these technical professionals into the core engineering operations of various United States technology enterprises.
