Gabriel Saruhashi

Gabriel Saruhashi is a United States based technology entrepreneur and the Cofounder of Emerge Career, a comprehensive workforce development and reentry platform serving justice impacted individuals across multiple states and municipalities. Prior to launching this venture, he cofounded Ameelio, a technology nonprofit that dismantled prison communication barriers and provided critical services to over one million people impacted by incarceration. His social impact initiatives have attracted significant financial backing from prominent technology investors and philanthropic organizations, including Y Combinator, Reid Hoffman, Jack Dorsey, and Alexis Ohanian. Saruhashi earned a computer science degree from Yale University, where he developed applications for marginalized communities, and previously gained early startup experience as the first product manager at Zippi. His ongoing professional focus centers on leveraging technology to drive criminal justice reform and eliminate systemic unemployment barriers at a national scale.
