Gabriel Savit

Gabriel Savit is the co-founder and CEO of Runway, an artificial intelligence engineering platform based in San Francisco, California. Before launching this venture, he co-founded and led Heap Analytics, a software company that raised over $56 million and served 10,000 customers before its acquisition by Contentsquare in 2023. Earlier in his career, Savit held early roles at Parse prior to its acquisition by Facebook, and he studied computer science at Stanford University. Under his leadership, Runway has secured more than $50 million in total capital, including a $30 million Series B funding round in March 2025 backed by Sequoia Capital. He is an active industry speaker, recently delivering a keynote address on scalable tooling at AI DevCon 2025. Savit maintains a primary professional focus on building machine learning infrastructure, enterprise software, and advanced developer tools.
