George Lawrence

George Lawrence is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Channel3, an AI-driven commerce infrastructure startup based in New York. Before launching the enterprise during his senior year, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Duke University and worked as a software engineer at Palantir. At Palantir, Lawrence specialized in solving complex security and data infrastructure problems, building on analytical skills he previously demonstrated as a twice-published astronomer. He currently leads technical architecture for Channel3, which recently secured $6 million in seed funding led by Matrix and joined the Y Combinator Summer 2025 cohort. Under his engineering leadership, the platform has developed a machine-readable database containing 50 million products to facilitate automated shopping experiences. His current focus centers on building neutral product data layers and application programming interfaces to power the agentic e-commerce sector.
