Gery Nugraha

Gery Nugraha is the Co-Founder of Latent Space, an applied artificial intelligence software company currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded in 2022 and backed by the Y Combinator Summer 2022 cohort, the startup has successfully scaled to approximately 100 employees under his technical and product leadership. Nugraha directs the engineering and execution of AI-first applications tailored for Southeast Asian businesses and consumers, including the enterprise concierge Halo AI, the visa application tool GoVisa, and the hyperlocal knowledge platform Supa. Previously, he served as a Tech Lead at Shopee in Singapore, where he built large-scale backend infrastructure and distributed systems capable of processing millions of queries per second. As an alumnus of the Bandung Institute of Technology, his current professional focus centers on deploying consumer-facing artificial intelligence, workflow automation, and commerce infrastructure across emerging economies.
