Gil Kornberg is a deeptech operator and artificial intelligence researcher currently working as a professional at Thesis. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University. Prior to joining Thesis, Kornberg conducted advanced computational research at the Stanford AI Lab, focusing specifically on climate change applications, and at Tel Aviv University, where he applied number theory to neurophysics. He also worked in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Michael Levitt at the Stanford School of Medicine, developing complex neural representations of proteins. Alongside his extensive academic tenure, he operated within several small deeptech startups to help commercialize sophisticated computational models and algorithms. His current professional background centers on leveraging machine learning to solve interdisciplinary technical challenges across computational biology, climate technology, and neurophysics.
