Hamutal Meridor is the co-founder and President of Kela Technologies, an artificial intelligence and defense technology startup based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Founded in July 2024, the enterprise employs approximately 25 personnel and has secured $39 million in venture funding from prominent investors including Sequoia Capital and LUX Capital. Prior to launching this venture, she served as the General Manager of Palantir Israel and worked as an investment partner at Vintage Investment Partners. Her earlier career includes operating as the head of network intelligence at Verint and establishing the web intelligence desk for the Israeli intelligence community. A graduate of IDF Unit 8200, she holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science and cognitive sciences. Meridor currently focuses on developing open artificial intelligence platforms that integrate commercial sensors and drones into unified military battlefield systems for democratic governments.
