Harj Taggar is a Managing Partner at Y Combinator, based in San Francisco, California. He graduated from the University of Oxford in 2006 with a degree in Jurisprudence before co-founding Auctomatic as part of the YC Winter 2007 batch, a platform for managing online marketplace listings that was acquired by Live Current Media in 2008. In 2010, Taggar became the first non-founder partner at Y Combinator, serving until 2014 when he left to co-found Triplebyte, a technical hiring platform designed to assess software engineering talent regardless of educational background. Triplebyte raised over $10 million in Series A funding led by Initialized Capital and was later acquired by Karat.
