Hovhannes Avoyan

Hovhannes Avoyan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Picsart, a digital creation and editing platform based in Miami, Florida. Under his leadership, the company reached a valuation exceeding $1 billion following a $130 million Series C funding round backed by SoftBank and Sequoia Capital. The platform currently supports a global community of over 150 million monthly active users and has surpassed one billion total downloads. Prior to establishing Picsart, Avoyan founded and successfully exited multiple enterprise software companies, including Monitis, which was acquired by TeamViewer, and Sourcio. He holds degrees from the State Engineering University of Armenia and the American University of Armenia, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School. His current professional focus centers on integrating generative artificial intelligence tools into consumer technology to expand the global creator economy.
