Hriday Kemburu

Hriday Kemburu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wildfire, a social news and communications platform based in San Francisco. He established the company during his senior year at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a bachelor's degree in computer science in 2016. Following graduation, Kemburu led a three-person team through the Y Combinator Summer 2017 accelerator program in Silicon Valley to further develop the application. Under his leadership over six years of operation, the platform expanded from a single college safety application into a multi-campus network operating across more than 30 universities. During this period, the software facilitated the distribution of 65 million safety alerts to an active user base of nearly one million individuals. His current professional focus centers on developing scalable community communication tools and localized alert distribution systems.
