Isaiah Boone

Isaiah Boone is a Partner at Sequoia Capital based in the San Francisco Bay Area. In his current role, he focuses on early-stage investments across enterprise applications, infrastructure, commerce, and marketplaces, partnering with portfolio companies such as the human resources management platform Rippling since 2021. He recently co-authored a March 2025 publication detailing the venture capital firm's strategic investment in the business banking platform Mercury. Before joining Sequoia Capital, Boone worked as an Associate at the private equity firm Leonard Green & Partners and gained additional financial experience working in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets. He holds a bachelor's degree from Pomona College and previously served as a Career Prep Fellow at the nonprofit Management Leadership for Tomorrow. His professional background centers on identifying early-stage founders who are building highly scalable enterprise and commerce platforms.
