Ishaan Sehgal

Ishaan Sehgal is the founder of Omnara, an artificial intelligence agent orchestration platform currently in development. Previously, he served as an AI Infrastructure Engineer at Microsoft, where he built and led the development of the open-source Kaito project to optimize machine learning systems. Before his tenure at Microsoft, Sehgal worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Windsor, an early-stage Y Combinator-backed startup from the Winter 2019 batch that was successfully acquired in 2024. Additionally, he gained early technical experience by completing a software engineering internship at Roblox. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Sehgal’s professional background combines enterprise machine learning engineering with early-stage startup experience, and his current focus centers entirely on building scalable command center infrastructure for autonomous AI agents.
