Ishwar Gogineni

San Francisco-based Ishwar Gogineni is the CEO and Co-Founder of RootFi, a financial technology platform that automates accounting workflows and enterprise data integrations. Before launching the startup in 2022, he worked as a Software Engineer at the hedge fund Citadel and earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from BITS Pilani. Under his leadership, the Y Combinator-backed company has built a unified API infrastructure that connects to dozens of global financial platforms and serves more than 5,000 customers across 100 countries. Gogineni recently guided RootFi through a $12 million Series A funding round led by Peak XV Partners in October 2024, following a $3.6 million seed round the previous year. His current professional focus centers on scaling the company's enterprise API capabilities and expanding its multi-ERP data normalization tools across the European and Asia-Pacific markets.
