Jaclyn Ling is the CEO and co-founder of Hatchways, a technical hiring and developer vetting platform based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2018, the startup employs eight people and participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2019 batch to replace traditional algorithmic engineering interviews with practical, applied assessments. Prior to launching Hatchways, Ling co-founded the personal style assistant application Blynk, successfully leading the fashion company until its acquisition by the messaging platform Kik Interactive in 2015. Following this exit, she transitioned into a corporate leadership role, serving as Kik's Director of Retail to oversee product and commercial strategies. She completed her undergraduate business education in Canada, earning an HBA degree from the Ivey Business School. Her professional background currently focuses on driving product management and B2B sales within the human resources technology and enterprise software sectors.
