Jacqueline Samira

Jacqueline Samira is the Founder and CEO of Howdy.com, an HR technology and nearshore software development company based in Austin, Texas. An alumna of the Y Combinator W21 cohort, she established the firm to connect United States businesses with elite software engineering talent across Latin American hubs in Uruguay, Argentina, and Colombia. Under her leadership, the company successfully raised over $18 million in total venture capital funding, including a $13 million Series A round in August 2022 led by Obvious Ventures with participation from Greycroft. Prior to launching Howdy.com, originally known as Austin Software before its November 2022 rebranding, she developed extensive domain expertise through various sales leadership roles focused on B2B technology sales and enterprise partnerships. Her current focus centers on scaling cross-border talent operations while prioritizing cultural integration within the Latin American tech ecosystem.
