Jamie MacLeod

Jamie MacLeod is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Alguna, an enterprise software startup based in London. Founded in 2023 alongside Chief Executive Officer Aleks Đekić, the ten-person company participated in the Y Combinator Summer 2023 batch. Alguna recently emerged from stealth after securing a $4 million seed funding round led by Mango Capital and Atlantic Labs. Prior to establishing this venture, MacLeod served as the fifth software engineer at the payment orchestration fintech company Primer. During his tenure there, he played a critical role in scaling the broader engineering organization from 30 to 100 employees while directly managing a dedicated group of approximately 20 engineers. His current professional focus centers on leveraging artificial intelligence to build automated configure, price, and quote software and complex revenue management systems for modern financial technology companies.
