Jan Schutte

Jan Schutte is the CTO and co-founder of ReJot, an early-stage developer tools startup focused on building a replication engine for microservice communication. Prior to co-founding ReJot, he worked as a Data Platform Engineer at the financial technology company Adyen, where he specialized in enterprise data infrastructure and distributed systems. He studied Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam, and he currently serves on the board of the Information Sciences Association for Amsterdam Alumni. In 2022, he co-authored the artificial intelligence research paper "Teaching a New Dog Old Tricks: Contrastive Random Walks in Videos with Unsupervised Priors" and developed independent applications like the AI specification tool semcheck. Schutte currently focuses on advancing B2B software architecture by developing Fragno, ReJot's core database technology product built to support developer workflows and enterprise data engineering.
