Jeff Barg

Jeff Barg is the Head of AI at Clay, a New York-based software company that recently acquired his previous startup. Prior to this acquisition, he served as the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Avenue, an operations observability platform backed by the Y Combinator W21 cohort. Before launching Avenue, Barg worked as a Software Development Engineer on the Alexa AI team at Amazon in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and completed a summer technology associateship at Bridgewater Associates in Westport, Connecticut. He studied in the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, having previously built and marketed multiple consumer iOS applications that accumulated over 300,000 total downloads during high school. His current technical focus centers on scalable artificial intelligence infrastructure, low-latency entity resolution systems, and business-to-business software operations tooling for modern engineering teams.
