Jeffrey Lange is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Scanbase, a seed-stage healthcare technology startup operating within the global medical diagnostics and testing sector. The company provides a specialized application programming interface, or API, that utilizes computer vision to analyze photographs of rapid diagnostic tests, including those for COVID-19, influenza, RSV, and various sexually transmitted diseases. Backed by the prominent startup accelerator Y Combinator, Scanbase enables manufacturers of at-home medical tests to automatically convert physical test images into verified digital results for their end users. Prior to establishing his current enterprise, Lange completed his formal education and earned his undergraduate degree in design at the Rhode Island School of Design. His current professional focus centers on building scalable digital infrastructure and deploying advanced computer vision solutions to modernize the rapidly expanding at-home medical testing industry worldwide.
