Jesper Theil Thomsen

Jesper Theil Thomsen is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SOUNDBOKS, a consumer electronics company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He established the audio hardware startup in 2015 to develop durable, battery-powered Bluetooth speakers originally designed for the Roskilde Festival. Under his leadership, the enterprise participated in the Y Combinator accelerator program in 2016 and subsequently scaled its direct-to-consumer retail operations to achieve sales of hundreds of thousands of units globally. Thomsen has received several notable industry recognitions, including placement on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Manufacturing and Industry in 2018 and inclusion in the Danish publication Berlingske's Talent 100. Following the release of the flagship SOUNDBOKS 4 speaker in August 2023, his current professional focus remains on driving international retail expansion and advancing product ecosystem growth within the portable audio sector.
