Jessica Livingston is a founding partner at Y Combinator and co-host of The Social Radars podcast, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since co-founding the seed-stage venture firm alongside Paul Graham in 2005, she has helped fund over 4,000 companies, including Airbnb, which hold a combined valuation exceeding $600 billion. In 2007, she authored the book Founders at Work, and she later launched the Female Founders Conference in 2013. Prior to her venture capital career, she served as Vice President of Marketing at the investment bank Adams Harkness Financial Group and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bucknell University. She is also an early financial backer of the artificial intelligence research organization OpenAI, further expanding her investment portfolio. Her current focus remains centered on early-stage tech entrepreneurship, founder psychology, and venture capital community building.
