Jessica Zhang

Jessica Zhang is the CEO and Co-Founder of Pier, a B2B credit infrastructure platform based in San Francisco, California. She launched the fintech startup in 2023 and secured $2.4 million in seed funding from investors including Y Combinator, Liquid 2, and ACME. Previously, Zhang served as Chief of Staff and Product Manager at Stilt, a lending company that raised over $375 million before its acquisition by JGW. She was also a founding team member for Onbo, Stilt's credit API, and previously founded and exited the startup Oppti. Earlier in her career, the Cornell University graduate worked on the Global Trade CFO team at JPMorgan and accumulated over $7 billion in underwriting and transaction experience. Her current focus centers on developing compliant lending APIs that enable businesses to efficiently launch and scale their credit products.
