Jin Chang

Jin Chang is the CEO and Co-Founder of Fieldguide, a vertical AI platform for audit and advisory firms, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Before launching the Y Combinator-backed startup in 2020, he spent five years in audit and advisory roles at EY and served as Chief of Staff at the legal technology company Atrium. While earning his MBA at UC Berkeley, Chang, who also holds a CPA credential, founded a cryptocurrency tax automation company. Under his leadership, Fieldguide has scaled to serve top-100 CPA firms and secured a $30 million Series B funding round in March 2024 to expand its generative AI capabilities, bringing its total venture funding to over $50 million. Chang currently focuses on deploying enterprise agentic AI to automate workflows and transform risk assurance across the $200 billion accounting industry.
