Joao Borges

Joao Borges is the Co-Founder and COO of BlindPay, a stablecoin API platform based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He recently helped secure a $3.3 million seed funding round for the company, attracting investments from venture firms like 468 Capital and Transpose Platform, alongside YouTube co-founder Jawed Karim. Previously, Borges served as the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at BAYZ, a prominent web3 gaming startup that he successfully scaled to over $1.5 million in revenue during its first year. Under his leadership from September 2021 to November 2023, BAYZ raised more than $4 million from venture capitalists, earning him a spot on the Forbes Under 30 list for Tech and Innovation in 2022. The UNIFACS alumnus currently focuses on developing scalable blockchain infrastructure to facilitate cross-border global payments and innovative financial products for international markets.
