Joe Pestro

Joe Pestro is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ravel, a technology development startup based in San Francisco, California. As a serial entrepreneur and full-stack software engineer, he previously founded two companies backed by the startup accelerator Y Combinator, launching Fanvibe during the Summer 2010 batch and Priime in 2014. At Priime, he directed a three-person engineering team to develop photography applications that ultimately earned Apple's "Best New App" designation for iOS and an "Editors' Choice" award for macOS. His technical expertise spans web, mobile, and web3 development, utilizing core programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Swift. Additionally, he manages complex cloud infrastructure deployments across enterprise platforms like Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud. Pestro currently focuses on technical product management, scaling startup infrastructure, and mentoring engineering teams across diverse software ecosystems.
