John Anisere

John Anisere is the Co-founder and a Software Engineer at Payourse, a cryptocurrency infrastructure startup operating out of Lagos, Nigeria. Alongside co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Bashir Aminu, he helped secure a $600,000 pre-seed funding round in late 2021 to scale operations and develop the flagship remittance product, Coinprofile. Prior to focusing on Web3 and financial technology, Anisere leveraged his formal academic background in physics to build scalable technology platforms across several distinct sectors. His previous software engineering portfolio includes developing technical solutions for enterprise hiring processes, corporate diversity and inclusion initiatives, and localized community water systems. Maintaining a technical presence with 36 followers on GitHub, he occasionally operates out of Birmingham. His current focus centers on expanding cryptocurrency access across the African market and advancing his technical capabilities as a machine learning engineer.
