John Riccitiello

John Riccitiello is a technology and gaming executive based in the San Francisco Bay Area who most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of Unity Technologies. He previously held leadership roles at Electronic Arts, operating as President and Chief Operating Officer from 1997 to 2004 before returning as CEO from 2007 to 2013. In 2004, he co-founded the private equity firm Elevation Partners, and he later served as an early investor and board member for Oculus VR. At Unity from 2014 to October 2023, he oversaw fundraising rounds of $181 million and $400 million, ultimately leading the company to a $1.3 billion initial public offering in 2020 at a $13 billion valuation. The UC Berkeley graduate maintains a career focus on video game publishing, real-time 3D technology, and private equity investments in digital entertainment.
