Jon Xu is a General Partner at Y Combinator based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Before joining the accelerator, he co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of FutureAdvisor, a pioneering robo-advisor that launched during the Y Combinator Summer 2010 batch. Following BlackRock's successful acquisition of FutureAdvisor in 2015, Xu transitioned to lead product and engineering for the global asset manager.
