Jorge Fuentes

Jorge Fuentes is the current CEO and Co-founder of Goldsky, a real-time blockchain data platform based in San Francisco, California. Previously, he co-founded Matter Labs, the development team behind the Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution known as zkSync, which achieved over $1 billion in total value locked and surpassed 100 million mainnet transactions by July 2024. As a Y Combinator alumnus from the W20 batch, Fuentes successfully secured a $15 million Series A funding round for Goldsky, which was led by Haun Ventures in 2023. Under his executive leadership, Goldsky expanded its infrastructure capabilities by launching an AI-powered blockchain query tool in October 2024, shortly before he presented at Devcon 7 in Bangkok. His current professional focus centers on advancing decentralized finance and Web3 infrastructure through zero-knowledge proofs and real-time data indexing for modern crypto applications.
