Jorge Silveira

Jorge Silveira is the Founder of Verde, an agricultural technology startup currently based in Brazil. Prior to establishing this venture, he accumulated twenty years of professional experience working as a software engineer across various corporate technical development roles. Drawing upon his personal heritage as the grandson of traditional farmers, he eventually transitioned his career to focus exclusively on the intersection of modern software engineering and agricultural production. At Verde, he directs the creation of specialized digital platforms designed specifically to support the daily operational requirements of small and medium farming enterprises operating throughout the Brazilian market. His software platform aims to bridge the historical gap between advanced technological infrastructure and conventional regional farming methodologies. Silveira currently focuses on leveraging his two decades of technical expertise to scale accessible AgTech software solutions for independent agricultural producers.
