Jota Chamorro

Jota Chamorro is the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer of YouShift, a healthcare technology startup, and is currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Harvard University, where he developed the technical foundation for his entrepreneurial ventures. Chamorro built the YouShift software platform alongside three other student co-founders to optimize medical workforce management by utilizing algorithms that assign hospital shifts based on specific physician preferences. His focus on the medical sector was directly influenced by his mother, Montserrat Matilla, a pediatrician and vocal at the Colegio de Médicos de Cantabria, who highlighted the operational scheduling inefficiencies faced by modern healthcare professionals. Chamorro currently focuses on scaling this scheduling software while completing his undergraduate studies, with long-term plans to expand his product development efforts across the broader health-tech industry.
